Is DDR2 memory card and DDR3 graphic card compatible ?Motherboard Processor & RAM I have a CORSAIR 1GB (2 x 512MB) DDR2 533 PC4200 PCI EXPRESS 16×2 memory card.Can I replace my graphics card by a SAPPHIRE HD 4670 512MB GDDR3My question: Is DDR2 memory card and DDR3 graphic card compatible ? Yes, basically it has the same interaction as the compatibility between the rubber used for your tires and the type of plastic from your dashboard.The graphics card on board its own memory, strictly independent of memory for the processor / motherboard.

Thank you very much for your responses. I wanted to be sure before ordering my graphics card. I think buying an ATI Radeon HD4670 or HD4830, but according to the opinion they are harvested a little noisy.

I do not know what’s your budget, but for Rs. 1300 – 1950 more in general, you can have a Gainward Golden Sample 4850, with a good cooling system

have a 5-6 old compaq presario P4, 256 RAM , Intel extreme grphics. 17 inch CRT monitor.

am going to buy a AOC F22 22″ LCD to replace my 17 ” CRT monitor. What are the probable hardware changes I need to do.Also do answer the following Q.1.Do i need to buy a Graphic Card.If yes please suggest the cheapest ones(I am no gamer,just play movies etc)

2.I also intend to use an external Tv Tuner.Please suggest some Tv tunner.(i have read AOC F22 has a great resolution hence i guess a Tv tuner should be accordingly capable).

3. DVI-D or VGA. ??? Is my computer capable of transmitting DVI signal without the graphic card. Do tell me more about DVI

Please help me to setup this monitor and tv tuner on my old PC. Your Answers guyzz….. i would surely like to have multiple opinion on this!
