save the money for video cards if u have sli or crossfire motherboard instead of upgrading to led… trust me, the experience while playin games will be enhanced way more with an extra card than a better monitor, of course, unless ur current lcd is really crap…

@thedarkone123123: I have to agree with you, …I’m HOPING that it might be because the LED monitors’ settings were set to ‘cool’ lighting instead of ‘warm’ lighting (As the regular monitor must obviously be set to ‘warm’). If that IS the case, then the LED is definitely superior in every other regard, but for now, yeah the greenish-bluish tint on the LED monitor makes me hold-off on buying until I learn otherwise.

The older LCD moniters are not “Cathode” backlit. They are “Flourescent” backlit with small flourescent bulbs.

you can tell that the non LED monitor is on a tilt and the camera is situated closer to the left side…meaning that the LED monitor will appear to have more vibrant colour…

    Camera tricks these days…

    QUESTION! QUESTION!

Will a mostly white desktop background make an LCD monitor last longer or a BLACK desktop background allow the life span to be longer?

I have tried to research this but I think you might have more luck. Please help out as its a really good question for LCD lifespan improving. =)

@nichqsiq People use 20 year old CRTs’ that work perfectly fine. This doesn’t mean your getting the best picture though.

Am I the only one who thought the LED screen looked really yellow in the color in almost all of the video? I thought the Backlit display was far better in color. It might be the video, but that’s what I thought.
