It does not, LGA 775 sockets are Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Quads, you want to look for Socket LGA 1366 for the i7 920

P5E3 consumes 40 watts just for the chipset you cant build an energy star 4.0 pc with
these epu boards which is disappointing.

you see those 2 copper thing with fins around the cpu? you put those 2 additional fans ON them to provide more cooling, but it should only b used when you are liquid cooling caz there wont b airflow to the copper pipes

ok i have a real big problem firstly my mobo is an Asus P5E3 deluxe Wifi-Ap @n, however this is not listed on the site – only – Asus P5E3 Deluxe wifi ap, (no @n), and Asus P5E3 Premium Wifi-Ap @n, i have chosen the premium on vip member registration is this the wrong one??? i chose it by the @n reason please help. ifi have to change to asus p5e3 deluxe wifi ap how do i change it eventhough the serial number has been registered their 0800 093 456 number doesnt work.
