CarnEvil – Haunted House


This is the level Haunted House from the arcade game CarnEvil and it includes me killing the boss Evil Marie. Mame32UI v0.125 was used to play this game and Fraps was used to record it. CarnEvil is a portmanteau of “The Carnival of Evil” and was inspired by the 1962 movie Carnival of Souls.     I remember the kitchen in this level scared the shit out of me as a kid. All that blood man. Why did I pick the haunted house to start on?!?

    Anybody remember what it said on the cabinet itself? I remember it had a really cool little poem on.

    I forgot where, but while I was younger and played this game, I got freaked out. That blonde girl came out of no where, I shot her, and she fell into the garbage can.

    Needless to say, I got a game over. Btw, I thought there were also skeleton people with blonde hair too…weird.
