If tears could build a stairway,
And memories a lane,
I’d walk right up to Heaven
And bring you home again.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
R.I.P to all, “you will all be forever in our thoughts, no memory is left astray, the life you once had may have gone but the memory you leave behind will forever follow me.”

May we never forget these 29 great men and forever hold them in our hearts… May each of us hold their families in our hearts, our thoughts and our prayers… This Tribute to them and their families is wounderful, very touching in so many ways… I knew a few of these men and it affects me personally…

@wde74001 Thank You so much…. that means a lot to me… this is a small thing to do for these miners families but I am happy to do it, just the same.
I wish there was more I could do.

@RiverMpls I thought I deleted your comment once ALREADY? We really don’t need this kind of negativity right now… TWENTY NINE MEN lost their life in that coal mine and if you felt for them and their families you would not make such remarks. I do not appreciate your cursing either… I hope and pray you never have to go through the pain these folks have endured…. THINK before you post.

Thank you Serena. This was a wonderful tribute. I grew up in Oceana, my dad worked in the mine for 30 years. I now live in FL, but my heart will always be at home. I didn’t know any of the miners personally, but everyone knows that it is like one big family. My heart aches for the families of these brave men. I will continue to keep them in my prayers.
