@mrjamesb56 Sounds like you had a very nice turn up for the books there. eVGA are good but i don’t think much of their service. Sapphire do have an amazing customer service team as do XFX and BFG in my past travels.

@eteknix … I’m Partial to Sapphire myself , I once bought an 1800xt , after 2+ years the Fan died , I sent it in to be repaired , Sapphire sent me back a letter saying Sorry they couldn’t fix it … and with a Brand New Sapphire 4890! , Postage paid by them on top!… (I just sold that 4890 3 days ago , I’m going evga gtx 470 SLI !)…

@mrjamesb56 Yes can see your point, i’ve never been a massive fan of MSI for graphics cards, i’ve always stuck with XFX mainly and Asus.

@eteknix Canada is about 140$ for 5750 and about 170$ for 5770 and the Prices are a little cheaper but the spread is the same in the U.S….. So You see my Point ,then….(Me thinks the MSI HAWK 5770 with volt mod software is the best of the bunch and it’s about 185$)
#13 written by eteknix October 5th, 2010 at 04:20
@mrjamesb56 I’m not sure of the US prices, but when the 5750 came out, it was released as a sub £100 card, that was the point of it.

@eteknix -That’s a REAL Specific budget if you can’t spend 30$ more for 30% more Performance… If there was a 100$ difference ,then I would understand….
#15 written by eteknix October 5th, 2010 at 05:59
@mrjamesb56 Some people have a specific budget and can’t all get the extra to get a 5770.
#16 written by mrjamesb56 October 5th, 2010 at 06:14
I don’t understand why anyone would buy an ati 5750, less than 30$ gets you 30% more performance with 5770….
