Granted I’m not an overclocker. I do like the performance of this board. I got mine at Newegg Feb 2010. The processor I put in is a PH II X3 720 Black. But I it set to run X4.

I keep it cool with an Arctic Freezer.

Good board. Not trying to start a flame war but I seriously think that full atx boards with 2 or more PCI-E 16x slots should not need integrated video.

    Also

Not sure bout the difference between this and this —>ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO/U3S6

But is it true that it supports USB3.0 and Sata 6G/Bs but you have to use one of the Pci-e ports to get that. I don’t mind combining the power of the 4200 onboard with whatever i’m using but an extra PCI-e slot getting used by default is kind of annoying.

I’m looking to get a Phenom II x6 1055t for this mobo. I have also seen a build with both so i’m assuming that it will work with this CPU since it supports the AM3 socket.

    Can you confirm?

    Please :)

@74Eric74 No. AMD motherboards with an AMD chipset (which 99% of the Am3 sockets motherboards have) do not support SLI.
If you want to buy an AM3 motherboard with SLI support, go with Asus M4N98TD EVO. It has an nVidia Chipset, but it doesnt support Crossfire.

@Pyromaceno1 it is only dual channel ddr3 if you did 2X or 4X it should have no issue sometimes with only on module per channel you get some ram issues. Everything else will work fine.

@AQIB786100 you have to connect your monitor to your video card when the pc is completely OFF….. NOT while the pc is on/booting…so after everything is connected turn on the pc and it should work
